Before long we were eating a superb dinner lit by fire- and candlelight, sitting in front of the majlis. But gradually becoming colder and colder, despite the fire. So we retired as soon as decently possible to a very comfortable bed, made even more welcoming by the presence of a hot water botttle for each of us.
