Sleeping tents vary according to the location but are always filled with proper mattresses, crisp cotton linen, feather pillows and traditional furnishings. With plenty of space for two (either as twin or double) and room for one child on a camp bed, each sleeping tent has a private bathroom tent that’s open to the skies and furnished with a basin, shower, soft towels and a selection of soaps and lotions.
Each camp also has a large majlis, decorated in traditional style with cushions and rugs, books, boules and board games. Our commitment to preserving both energy and atmosphere means that we only use solar-powered lights, along with candles, oil lamps and camp fires.
Dinner is a magical experience, served under the stars beside a crackling fire along with appropriate glasses, china crockery, candles and linen tablecloths.
Here at Hud Hud we pride ourselves on being able to produce fantastic and varied food, from Middle Eastern style cuisine, to North African and Mediterranean. Everything is prepared on site using local ingredients wherever possible.
Typical delicacies include traditional lamb mendhi and home made baklava accompanied by Omani coffee flavoured with rose water or saffron. Other dishes include Arabic mezze, traditional Keralan curries (inspired by our Keralan chef) and Moroccan style Tagines.
We can create a bespoke menu for special events – anything from a beach barbecue to an al fresco lunch or a more formal dinner party – and recently created a magical Alice in Wonderland themed dinner in the mountains with canapés followed by a five course tasting menu and homemade petit fours!
